 November 19, 2020, British government on the time of Christmas are considering to give permission and softening the imposed restrictions due to Coronavirus spread so that the British families can celebrate the Christmas festival with relatives on Christmas eve. Government Medical Advisor Dr. Susan Hopkins confirmed the news that the Government are considering such plans and are attempting to make it possible that the Christmas celebration be according to routine to a large extent.


A British newspaper claim that the British government is thinking of giving permission of 5 days which start from December 24, 2020, Christmas eve and relaxing corona restrictions for the families in England to celebrate Christmas with their relatives.


In this regard Business Secretory Amok Shamar have said that it will be too soon to reach a decision on this issue. However, he also want to his family members and relatives on Christmas eve. The four nations of the United Kingdom are in favor of a common position on this issue. According to the reports final decision on this issue will made possible in few weeks after seeing the latest coronavirus cases data during lockdown period. Dr Susan Hopkins also said even if some relaxation is done on Christmas Eve, strict enforcement of restrictions before and after must be ensured.
