Complete results of Gilgit-Baltistan Election 2020 Pakistan

 

November 15, 2020 Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) win the Gilgit-Baltistan election 2020 with a clear margin. PTI win 10 seats, Independent wins 7 seats, PPP wins 3 seats while PML-N 2, MWM only secure one seat each of Gilgit-Baltistan assembly. Despite heavy rain and snowfall all over Gilgit-Baltistan the voter turnout was very good which was more than 50 percent in Gilgit-Baltistan. The humble people of Gilgit-Baltistan participated in good numbers and enjoy the Gilgit-Baltistan election. A good majority of female voters also participated in Gilgit-Baltistan election and submitted their vote for their favorite candidates. On Sunday Election was contested upon 23 seats out of 24 seats Gilgit-Baltistan assembly. Total registered voters which can participate in the Gilgit-Baltistan was about more than 7 lakh. The time aloud for voting purpose start in Morning at 8 am and ended at 5 pm in the evening. No serious incident took place during the voting period and only a minor clash happened between PTI and PPP voters which was quickly resolved by the local police. The Gilgit-Baltistan election happened very peaceful.

The unofficial results of Gilgit-Baltistan election is as follow;

GBA-1 Gilgit-1

PPP Amjad Hussian won by 11178 votes only.

IND Molana Sultan Raees took only 8356 votes.

GBA-2 Gilgit-2

PPP Jamil Ahmed took 6694 votes.

PTI Fattaullah Khan won by 6696 votes only.

GBA-4 Nagar-1

PPP Amjad Hussian won by 6104 votes.

ITP Muhammad Ayub took only 4291 votes.

GBA-5 Nagar-2

IND Javed Ali Manwa won by 2570 votes.

MWM Haji Rizwan Ali took only 1850 votes.

GBA-6 Hunza

PTI Abaidullah Baig won by 5622 votes.

IND Noor Muhammad took only 4584 votes.

GBA-7 Skardu-1

PTI Raja Zakaria Khan won by 5290 votes.

PPP Syed Mehdi Shah took only 4114 votes.

MWM Muhammad Kazim won by 7842 votes.

PPP Muhammad Ali Shah took 7146 votes only.

IND Wazir Muhammad Saleem won by 7534 votes.

PTI Fida Muhammad Nashad took only 5236 votes.

PPP Muhammad Ismail won by 6206 votes.

Free & Fair Election say Election Commissioner !

Chief Election Commissioner Gilgit-Baltistan while talking to the media in a press conference said Free & Fair and Unbiased election took place in Gilgit-Baltistan in a very peaceful environment. Only Minor Incident happened between the supporters of PTI and PPP which got resolved by the Police and Law enforcer quickly. 2 Police officers got injured during the clash between PTI and PPP supporters. FAFEN also made a statement and agreed with the Chief Election Commissioner Gilgit-Baltistan. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf got the majority of the seats in the Gilgit-Baltistan assembly and won the Gilgit Election 2020.
