 November 20,2020 Pakistani Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that we want to increase defense and security cooperation with Qatar. According to the details Pakistan Army Cheif Qamar Javed Bajwa and Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Amjed Khan Niazi meet with Commander Qatar Amiri Air Force Major General Salem Hamd Aqeel Al Nabat in which mutual interest, professional matters and regional security situation were discussed. According to Pakistan Army Public relations department (ISPR) yesterday Chief of Army staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa meets with Commander Qatar Amiri Air Force Major General Salem Hamd Aqeel Al Nabat. During the meeting Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that Pakistan values its brotherly relationship with Qatar and Pakistan army also want to increase its defense and security cooperation with Qatar military also.


The Qatari Air Chief praised the services of the Pakistan Army for its role in regional peace and security and training of the Qatari Armed Forces. Meanwhile Qatari Airforce Chief also met with Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Amjed Khan Niazi in a meeting in which mutual interest, professional matters and regional security situation were discussed. According to Pakistan Navy sources Commander Qatar Amiri Air force Major General Salem Hamd Aqeel Al Nabat also visited Pakistan Navy Naval Headquarters where he was received and welcomed by chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Amjed Khan Niazi. He was traditionally presented with a Guard of Honor. Qatari Commander also lay flowers on the martyrs memorial in Naval Headquarters. Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Amjed Khan Niazi also highlighted the role of Pakistan Navy in ensuring maritime security and peace in the region. Commander Qatar Amiri Air force recent visit is not only good for both countries but more important for their Armed forces and their relations will be further enhanced.
