November 5, Russian Special forces Commandos arrive in Pakistan to take part in a bilateral military exercise with Pakistan armed forces known as Druzhba-5, announced by ISPR Pakistan on November 6, 2020.
The bilateral exercises will include reconnaissance, search and ambush exercises, camouflage and covert movement on terrain and survival in isolation, sky diving and hostage rescue exercises. The bilateral military exercise Druzhba-5 will latest for 2 weeks till end of November 21, 2020. ---DG ISPR Pakistan
Druzhba exercises have been held between Pakistani and Russian Militaries since 2016, this recent exercise aimed to share counterterrorism experience between the Pakistan and Russia forces.
The drills will be held at the Pakistani Army’s Tarbela special operations training ground and on the territory of the National Counterterrorism Center in Pabbi.----DG ISPR Pakistan
