December 6, 2020 Pakistan has rejected Indian Foreign Ministry's false and misleading claims on Indian spy commander Kulbhushan Yadav's case. Foreign Ministry's spokesperson said in his statement and made it clear that the Indian High commission are Influencing their legal council, they seeks to escape legal action in the Kulbhushan Yadav's case. Following the verdict of the International Court of Justice, Pakistan had invited the Indian High Commission to meet Kulbhushan Yadav and appoint a lawyer on his behalf so that the sentence of Commander Yadav should be reviewed which may start. However, during the diplomatic exchange, the Indian High Commission itself refused to direct any lawyer. The statement clarified that contrary to the false statement of the Indian Foreign Ministry, an attempt was made to link the case of Kulbhushan Yadav with another Indian prisoner, Ismail. These two issues are completely different. The reference to Ismail's case was only for the purpose of exposing the contradiction in the Indian position.


The statement reiterated that Pakistan has already granted consular access to the Indian High Commission in accordance with the judgment of the International Court of Justice and has taken all necessary steps for effective review and review of the matter. The third consular access offer is still pending. India has once again been urged to refrain from using its usual abusive and sophisticated tactics and instead take practical steps to ensure that legal action is taken on a regular basis and that the ICJ fence is fully complied with.
